I have noticed a new employee at the Police Dept., yet there has been nothing said in the Board Meetings or in Adam's reports about the position being filled. I stopped in today and met her. Linda Hartung has begun working in the Police Dept. of Elmwood. I dont know how the Village has been able to hire and pay another employee, when they have put 75% of the Police Dept. budget out on the Chief himself, but everyone should stop in, and say hi to her. She was very polite and hopefully will become a very good asset to the Village.
note- I apologize that I wrote Lynn's name wrong. If there are corrections to be made to write ups by me, a simple note is all that is needed, not the hate filled crap that continues by those well respected individuals that like to push hate, instead of being helpful.
Again, Lynn I apologize and hope that you come back after schooling to see how the town is doing. Maybe some of the hatred will be gone. As far as being a volunteer, I applaud you, I have attempted to volunteer as well, but there are many out there that think volunteer equals panhandling.
