September 2011 Village Meeting

Resolutions 2011-03 & 04 Approved by Elmwood Village Board

ELMWOOD, WI - September 12, 2011 the Elmwood Village Board held their meeting at the Village Auditorium. Beginning at 6:30 pm the board held a public hearing for Resolution 2011-03. This is a Ordinance for the “Floodplain” There are updates from the DNR and FEMA that were required to be done by the village. A second public hearing was held at 6:45 pm for the Public Works Sidewalk Resolution. The areas that will be worked on are as follows: 203 & 215 W. Race Ave. and 222 S. Main Street. Both hearings lasted about ten minutes each, without any public input to either one.

The regular board meeting then began at 7 pm, again without any public input. Trustee Bruce Hartung spoke to the board and informed them of the 2012 Budget Talks that have begun. The approval of both resolutions was then completed. The Rod and Gun Club requested a Picnic License for September 24,2011 for their annual banquet, and that was approved.

In Committee and Board Reports, Trustee Trisha Knops provided the Nursing Home report. She stated “The regular meeting will be held on the 13th. There will also be an Open House on September 20th at 4-6 pm for the new Therapy and Tub Room.” There were no other reports to be provided.

Absent from this months meeting were, Trustee’s Brian Buck, Mike Sand, and Neil Boltic.
