Today , Chief Adam Meyers was involved in an accident that did some damage to the squad car and Adam. While attempting to catch a speeder leaving town, Adam Meyers began a chase that ended up being short lived. While getting up to speed, Adam's car hydroplaned across a small bridge, putting him into a spin that placed the car sideways hitting as line of four mailboxes that where cemented in place.The accident happened in front of the Josh Kern residents on West Winter Ave. This is a location that has had many stopped speeders in the recent past. It is to my undestanding that Adam was released from the Menomonie Hospital shortly after. Best wishes go out to a quick recovery to Adam.
